I took down the contact info and visited their website. The reviews were excellent and they stated "no job too small". My project was relatively small so I decided to test their promise. My first few encounters were with ERIC who was terrific! He was helpful, responsive and proactive. I was impressed. Next I met with JOSH to determine the "what and how much" for my job. He was open to questions and had a variety of suggestions to help guide me to my final decision. He had my estimate to me the next day. He remained active and involved with my project. My next step was with LEO and one of his crews for a job walk/project start. (Typically 2 steps, but we combined.) As had become the standard, the customer service and concern was stellar! Leo was always reachable for clarification and help when needed and the CREW was diligent, highly skilled and a pleasure to have at my home.

Marcus was very good about helping us explore our options in the planning stages, and up front about the 5-week wait to start the project. There was some additional delay due to bad weather, but then they came with an army and work progressed quickly. The whole project was completed in a week. Leo the foreman oversaw all the work and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. He even programmed the RainBird controller for us. Even our neighbors commented on how diligent and efficient the crew was.

  I'm editing my review just a little bit. I'm still overall happy with the end result but during the process they installed a chipped pony wall top and they'd promise... read more to come back and fix it but it's been well over a year and they haven't. And also a big part of my design request was to have an evergreen tree that would provide some privacy from my neighbors. Now that it's winter it is obvious that the tree they put in is definitely not evergreen. It's just a bunch of sticks right now as all the leaves fell off, not providing any privacy at all. So those two things have caused me to reduce my star from 5 to 4.

  New Front and Backyard

Marcus and Leo from MC Landscaping helped us update our front and backyard. They were patient through the design phase and had great suggestions... read more as to how to make our space more useable. Once they broke ground, the whole project was done in 2 weeks. They were flexible with the changes we made during the process which was a huge help. Pricing was honest and up front. Their team worked extremely hard and were very friendly. They cleaned up the job site and sidewalk each day with we really appreciated. They executed the plan in logical steps from root removal, soil removal, soil enrichment, grading, planted in excess of 100 plants, installed a drip irrigation system and mulch. From the beginning Marcus came to my house to see my backyard and talk about what I had in mind and gave me a rough estimate. Then I met up with the designer who came took pictures, talk about what I had in mind and she suggested better things that enhance the project! Marcus was great on giving me options on how to keep my project around my budget. I was able to take things out or add. Change materials to make it more cost efficient for me and he never got mad or was pushy trying to get money. Then I met Leo and Pedro. Leo was my project manager who was very professional. He also throughout the project kept me informed of any thing that needed to be change and suggested better things. Pedro was the one who actually put muscle and sweat in my project! He is a very hard worker and super nice to talk to. His whole crew was very nice. They work on time. Every day they showed up and I see see progress.
